What type of account can I open with J Futures?
You can choose to open up an individual, joint, corporate, partnership, foreign, trust, IRA or Hedge account.

What is the minimum account size?
J Futures only requires an initial deposit of $5,000 to qualify for its $8.00 discount rate. There is no minimum balance requirement after your initial deposit.

You also have the option of opening with as little as $2,000, but your commission rate will start out at $29.00 per round-turn. If you start with less than $5,000 and build it up to $5,000 or more at any time, please notify us and we will be more than happy to set your commission rate to $8.00 and keep there for the life of the account.

How long does it take to open an account with J Futures?
As soon as we receive your account application with verification of cleared funds, we can have you up and trading within minutes!!

Can I transfer an existing account at another firm to J Futures?
Absolutely. Inside the account application, there is a transfer form. Just fill it out and all cash and open positions will be transferred to J Futures. In addition, there are no fees to transfer your account to us.

In the instance I don't have access to a computer, can I phone in an order?
Yes. J Futures provides its customers with access to a 24-hour trade desk. Moreover, there are no extra charges for orders placed over the telephone versus online.
